Good Morning (an Australian two-piece that were born from the investment of a four track tape machine) have released another smashing single. This mellow, muted indie band from Melbourne are gifted in both quality and quantity when it comes to their output. ‘Take It Easy For Me, Stranger’, the A side from their new single, is sleepily slow. The bass line still retains some groove in its calmness, whilst unusual chords hum and drums remain minimal. Lead guitar parts are sparse and thoughtful and words are sung with ease and an emotional sentiment, occasionally decorated with pleasing harmonies. The track is reminiscent of Sparklehorse and Jerkcurb - whereby the vocals are both soulful and soft, paired with an overall washed out vibe. -Ellie Rose Davies
